The Foster Care Crisis
Too Many Children, Not Enough Families
There is a severe shortage of safe and loving homes available to children in foster care, often forcing case workers to desperately accommodate the children in subpar conditions- such as the floors of CPS offices.
Lack of Basic Necessities
Children are placed into the foster care system completely empty-handed. After this, only a mere trash bag is typically provided for the children to carry around everything they own.
Their Silent Plight
The American public is almost entirely unaware of this crisis crippling hundreds of thousands of our nation's youth. Because of this, there is virtually no advocating taking place on their behalf.
Our Solution
CARE-fully Packed's foremost goal is to raise awareness and redress the iniquities suffered by children in foster care involving the scarcity of advocating and insufficiency of basic necessities.
